Christian G. is an American abstract expressionist artist from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Christian started his creative career as a musician. At 22, he became a recording artist for Interscope Records, whose founder Jimmy Iovine told him "what you do sonically, I can see visually. Try picking up a paintbrush someday.”
After years recording music, Christian began to explore visual art deeply in 2015. He developed a creative process that combines instinct and spontaneity with purposeful movement and references from emotionally significant works of literature, music, and evolutionary essays.
His works are striking compositions. Intertwining lines create their own verse, wandering to form organic shapes, with black edges set off a nuanced neutral background.
“I strive for an audible sensory in my work. Harmonic overtones, echo and reverberation, white noise. Sometimes quiet, sometimes loud. To be immersed in a sonic landscape”.
